Blurring


How to achieve this: 

  • The camera must be set to Manual, with settings ISO at 200 and F22 for the aperture, depending on lighting. The shutter speed needs to be very quick, between 1-5 seconds. 
  • Lighting must be harsh in order for the blur to be seen clearly in the photograph. 
  • The studio needs to be set up so that the lights are shining directly on to the subject, with a backdrop, preferably black.
  • Ask the subject to move quite quickly, but with clear movements so that the blur is significant within the image.
